International Conference on Ageing

We invite you to be part of our inaugural International Conference on Ageing (ICA2019) that will be held on 8 – 9 March 2019 in Penang, Malaysia to share your research, services and products with researchers, policy makers and practitioners from the region with a direct interest in research and technologies to enhance the well-being of the elderly. We are expecting about 200 participants from academia, industry, government, related organisations and individuals to our conference.

This conference provides participants the opportunity to actively engage on diversified issues to ensure that older people are able to age appropriately and with dignity. Population ageing is one of world’s most significant social transformations that affect nearly all sectors of society, including financial markets, health, technology, industries, housing, transportation, bio medical, social welfare and family structures. Specific actions on these issues need to be urgently addressed at all levels to give priority to the development, independence, participation, care and self-fulfillment of older people.

This conference will focus on multidisciplinary issues related to ageing and therefore we welcome participations from different various agencies, institutions and field of expertise to exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences on issues related to ageing. We aim for long-term relations with our partners and therefore we also welcome ideas and suggestions to support the event. As a UNESCO World Heritage city, Penang offers great places to visit and spend time with family and friends.
