The 89th Geneva International Motor Show is open to new ideas: The regulations for the 2019 Motor Show have been made more flexible. Inscriptions for interested exhibitors will are open since May 1 to July 1, 2018. The 89th Geneva International Motor Show will take place from March 7-17, 2019 at Palexpo in Geneva.

The world of individual transportation is changing: manufacturers and suppliers must come to grips more and more the questions regarding the electrification of vehicles and connected mobility, driverless vehicles, packages of digital services or transportation services. For these reasons the Organising Committee of the Motor show have reviewed its General Regulations and will adapt a number of improvements for the Geneva International Motor Show 2019. The categories authorized in Article 4 have been expanded. The Motor Show will be open to all facets of individual transportation, and in particular:

•    To suppliers in relation to highway transportation,
•    To presenters of connected transportation from the electronics sector.
•    To suppliers of original equipment for individual transportation,
•    To all of the products in the portfolios of automobile manufacturer.

These changes will allow exhibitors to present their partners and suppliers in the most favourable manner possible and will offer considerable flexibility for the choice of products and objects to be exhibited.
« Our objective is that the Geneva International Motor Show 2019 will become even more modern and focused on the future without losing the perspective of its nearly 100 years of history » declared André Hefti, General Manager. «We will present to the visitors everything that the manufacturers and suppliers are doing with their current developments and what they are proposing for the future. »
The 2018 Geneva International Motor Show confirmed once again its importance as its exhibition halls were full and with the presentation of 157 World and European Premiers. More than 660,000 visitors from all over the world were registered during the 11 public days. The highlights of this year’s Motor Show can be found at the official website: www.gims.swiss.

For 2019, as with the last number of years, Halls 1 and 6 of Palexpo will be reserved for manufacturers, preparation specialists and for designers. Hall 7 will again be dedicated to the Swiss Automotive Industry. The concept for 2018 which gave the small and medium size enterprises presenting in Hall 7 the choice to participate with an individual stand for the full duration of the Motor Show or for a shorter term (from March 7-11), organised in conjunction with the SAA (Swiss Automotive Aftermarket), will continue in 2019. They will be presenting the latest trends and innovations in the accessories and equipment market for all types of vehicles.
The time-frame is limited for inscriptions of interest.
